Roman Macias is a life-long resident of the Central Valley and was raised in Reedley, California. After graduating from Reedley High School in 2006, Mr. Macias pursued his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Los Angeles. Mr. Macias graduated from UCLA in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Political Science.
Following his undergraduate education at UCLA, Mr. Macias began his legal education at Chapman University School of Law in Orange, California. During his time at Chapman Law, Mr. Macias served as a law clerk for the Honorable Catherine E. Bauer, U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge for the Central District of California. Mr. Macias also participated in the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic and the Tax Appeals Assistance Program, both of which specialized in providing free legal representation to low income individuals involved in tax disputes with both the Internal Revenue Service and the California Franchise Tax Board and Board of Equalization.
Mr. Macias obtained his Juris Doctorate in 2013. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Macias returned to the Central Valley and joined Clifford & Brown as an associate attorney. Mr. Macias is primarily a transactional attorney whose practice currently includes general estate planning, probate matters, general business transactions, and tax matters related to business formation and estate planning.
