Jeffrey P. Travis is an associate in the firm’s transactional department. Mr. Travis’ practice includes a wide variety of transactional matters, including real estate, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters representing clients in agriculture and farming, banking and finance, oil and gas, and retail development and leasing. Aside from his transactional practice, Mr. Travis also assists with various litigation matters.
Mr. Travis joined Clifford & Brown in the spring of 2014. Prior to joining the firm, he worked in the legal department for a Fortune 500 engineering and construction company in the Los Angeles area.
Mr. Travis was born and raised in Bakersfield, California. After graduating from Centennial High School in 2004, he enrolled at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in political science in 2008. Mr. Travis then enrolled at the University of Houston where he obtained his Juris Doctorate and Masters in Business Administration in just three years of study.
Mr. Travis is also in the process of obtaining an LLM in Taxation from the University of Alabama, which he is expected to graduate with in the summer of 2017.
