Ann S. Garza was born in Bakersfield, California. She graduated from McFarland High School in 2007, where she graduated top in her class.
After high school Ann received her Associates Degree in Political Science from Bakersfield College before transferring to California State University of Bakersfield, where she graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science-Pre Law, and a minor in Philosophy.
Following graduation from CSUB, Ann attended Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, California. During her summers she clerked at the Kern County District Attorney’s Office, assisting in the Prison Unit her first summer and conducting Preliminary Hearings her second summer. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School in 2015. Shortly thereafter she returned to Bakersfield and joined Clifford & Brown as an associate attorney. Ann is admitted to the State Bar of California and the Federal Eastern District of California. Her areas of practice include tort and business litigation.
