Born and raised in Los Gatos, California. Mr. Allen attended the University of California, Berkeley, graduating in 2011 with a degree in Political Science. While at the University of California, Berkeley he was a three-year letterman in football, received second team all-Pacific Ten Conference Academic honors two times, and was inducted in the National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society. He then attended Santa Clara University School of Law where he graduated in 2011 with distinction. He was admitted to the California Bar in 2011. Mr. Allen moved to Bakersfield and started his career at the Kern County District Attorney’s Office in 2012.
Mr. Allen joined Clifford and Brown in 2026 after spending fourteen and one half years as a prosecutor with the Kern County District Attorney’s Office. During his career as a prosecutor Mr. Allen tried sixty jury trials. Many of his trials included complex and high-profile murder cases, gang prosecutions, and sexual assaults. In addition to his trial experience Mr. Allen also spent several years handling post-conviction motion work with the Kern County District Attorney’s Office. Mr. Allen concluded his prosecutor career as supervising deputy district attorney.
Mr. Allen’s practice with the firm is to specialize in all types of civil litigation, including personal injury defense. He has over fourteen years of experience in trial and litigation practice. Mr. Allen has extensive experience in complex jury trial work.
Mr. Allen has been teaching at Kern County College of Law for four years. He attends Our Lady of Perpetual Help church.
